FootageBank HD Expands With Office in New York LOS ANGELES, February 27, 2007 -- FootageBank HD, the only footage company specializing in High Definition (HD) content, today announced the expansion of the company with the opening of its office in New York. The Soho office will help the company better serve its large number of New York and European clients and is located at PostWorks, New York, the most comprehensive, full service post production facility on the east coast with the ability to handle every aspect of post production – digital or film – for both short-form and long-form television, film and multimedia projects. "We are very excited to welcome FootageBank HD to the PostWorks building,” said Dominic Rom, chief operating officer, PostWorks, the Lab. “All of our various commercial, feature, and television clients now have direct access to FootageBank HD’s fantastic library. There is no reason to leave the building anymore." FootageBank HD already offers same day turnaround for its west coast television clients and the New York-based office allows that same opportunity for the New York broadcast community, including such clients as MTV and CBS News. The time difference also provides the New York office with an advantage in quickly managing orders coming from European representatives. Karen Santiago will manage the new office and its sales team. Santiago has more than five years experience in the footage and intellectual property industry and has worked at several top companies, including a recent position as account executive at Re:Search and Film Archive. “With this new office and sales team in the PostWorks Manhattan office, we are in place to even better serve the east coast production community and continue our mission of bringing the largest HD footage collection to the media marketplace,” said Paula Lumbard, founder and president, FootageBank HD.
