footagehead.com Makes an Impact on Creative Minds and Hungry Stomachs

Los Angeles, March 11, 2009
– High Definition (HD) content is all about making an impact, so what better way for footagehead.com, a new royalty-free division of the industry leading FootageBank HD, to make a philanthropic statement than by pairing its high-impact content with the desire to make a difference in the current hunger crisis.

Today footagehead, which is dedicated to meeting the content needs for online and mobile platforms with more than 10,000 new clips, made a commitment to help feed the hungry by donating $5 per downloaded clip to hunger relief programs.

“We feel this is a very real way to make the creative process count,” said Paula Lumbard, founder and president of FootageBank HD and footagehead, the new royalty-free division. “While our clients, also known as footage heads, have the ability to make an impact with their craft, they also have a strong desire to make an impact on the world around them.”

To help them accomplish both, footagehead will donate $5 per clip to the hunger relief program of their choice. The organizations footagehead has partnered with include:
• AID Darfur (http://www.aiddarfur.org)
• Feeding America (http://feedingamerica.org)
• United Nations World Food Programme (www.wfp.org)

“We feel we have selected hunger organizations that are fiscally responsible and making an impact of their own on the world hunger crisis,” said Lumbard. “These organizations represent hunger aid at the national and world level – and we are sure at least one of these options will resonate with our footage heads.”
